Well in an earlier post I revealed that I play online poker and have been plugging away with my bankroll for the last few months in tournament play, seeing my balance go up and down but never below $250, well finally I have managed to place in a tournament that was worth the time I spent playing!
I usually play my poker at PokerStars but after speaking with an old school friend was convinced to give Titan Poker a go, being told that the tables would be less fierce than those that I am used to playing at PokerStars.
So with the lure of playing against a lower grade of player, I signed up to Titan and made sure that I got full value from my bonus code poker gamble, the term that I give to when I join an online poker room based on the chance to unlock a nice amount of free poker money.
So I made full use of my Titan Poker bonus offer and maxed out on my deposit to ensure that over the next few months I have a good amount of money to unlock, after all, I play online poker every night, including after work, kind of a wind down session after a hard days work.
Entering into my first MTT (Multi Table Tournament) I was shocked to see the number of players that seem to play the game purely based on luck, some of the calls, bets and all in shouts were some of the worst that I have seen in a long, long time!
Knocking out player after player I have just had to sit there and wait for the power cards (most cards that carry paint!) and then make my move.
Getting to the final table was great but the players around me were obviously more clued up than the muppets that I had seen throwing everything but the kitchen sink at hands like 6/7 suited, yeah you read right!
Finishing the tournament when my aces were cracked was painful but with $10,000 firmly sat in my account now, it looks like I will be playing on Titan for a good while longer.
No point trying to rub shoulders with the best on PokerStars when I can easily be one of the best on Titan for the next few months is there?!
